Inside Sales Representative (ISR)
Our company is looking for an inside sales representative to work with our TOP products.
1.1 Principal Roles and Responsibilities
General
- Manage day to day business (sales quotation) towards active or new customers, he may be dedicated to one or several brands; he may be assigned to a defined territory or group of territories. (depending on the brand)
- Maintain Customer Data Base (Commercial part) in cooperation with business developer.
- Develop (out-bound calls) customers (dormant, no direct touch…) (depending on the brand this can be a part of the job)
- maintain / strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty
Specific
- be autonomous an independent worker. In case of absence of the Business developer the Inside sales will be the contact person to follow up the business internally.
- The inside sales function is related towards sales, but it is an INTERN job. Depending on the brand you will be more or less in contact (by phone, mail,...) with the vendor and customers to ensure the actions from Account Managers and business developer are taken into account on the administrative and internal sales level.
Contact and commercial mindset are a must, but do not underestimate the administrative part of the job.
1.2 Missions
Customer management
· Answer customer request, establish sales proposition / quotation, follow up proactively proposals sent out, manage pipeline accurately in close relationship with AM and Management.
· Be the linkage between vendors and his/her customers (presales activities)
· Promote vendor’ offerings : inform accordingly initiate content for marketing campaigns
· Teamwork with the Supply Chain to seamless “post order entry” sales activities (Customer services).
Drive business activities
· Participate to pipeline review.
· Report regularly activities, progresses and results towards business developer and management.
Certifications
· Ensure customer compliance with vendor certification program. (depending on the brand these are web based seminaries)
1.3 Skills
- Understand vendor process and Partner programs (Be compliant with vendor certification program)
- Knowledge of vendor products.
- Trilingual Dutch, French and English.
- Be a team player, social, motivated and interested.
- Capable of working in a changing environment, flexibility is a must.
- A bachelor degree and a first experience in an inside sales function is a plus.
- Good organizational skills and good knowledge of EXCELL is required.
1.4 Tools & process
- Pipeline process : update regularly ; participate to pipeline review with business developer and other IS.
- CRM : create / update contacts on regular basis, execute assigned activities
- Calendar : update regularly
- Activity report : report activity on a regular basis
- BU meeting : participate proactively
1.5 Organisation & position
- Report to BU manager (or team leader depending on the brand)
- Collaborate with customer service on claims related to customer orders
- Collaborate with Finance on credit limit issues
